This tenth in a series of national reports produced for the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) by the Association of Public Health Observatories (APHO) is on drug use. The report contains 46 different indicators of drug use relating to the individual, community and population across all nine English regions; with additional analysis of sub-regional inequalities where possible.
An Executive Summary is also available.

Choosing Health in the South East: Problem Drug Use
The main purpose of this report is to describe the pattern and impact of problem drug use across the South East region. It also highlights variations in problem drug use at regional and national level. It is intended to be useful to all those concerned with tackling problem drug use within the South East including crime and reduction disorder partnerships, local strategic partnerships, drug treatment agencies, problem drug users and carers.
Report Requests
The National Drug Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS) data for the South East can be analysed to produce reports that meet treatment provider and Drug Action Team (DAT) requirements.

DTMU require at least two weeks notice to enable us to analyse the data to ensure that it is accurate.
