The South East NDTMS Team (formerly the DTMU) have now become part of Public Health England (as of 1st April 2013), an executive agency of the Department of Health.
Public Health England has been established to protect and improve the nation’s health and wellbeing and to reduce inequalities. It will lead on the development of a 21st-century health and wellbeing service, supporting local authorities and the NHS to deliver the greatest possible improvements in public health. We are responsible for collecting, validating and processing the NDTMS data from Tier 3 and 4 services across the South East region. We also manage the NDTMS in Prisons Project across the South of England, covering a total of 67 establishments (Adult, YOI and Under 18 secure estate) across the South East, London, South West and Eastern regions.
